Volunteer FAQs

No experience is required — only genuine commitment and a willingness to learn. MZUDO provides orientation and ongoing training to all volunteers before they begin.

Volunteering at MZUDO is unpaid. However, volunteers may receive transport reimbursement for field activities and are invited to all MZUDO events and training workshops.

Yes! Several roles — including communications, IT support, research, and grant writing — can be done fully remotely. Indicate this in your application.

We ask for a minimum commitment of 3 months so that both you and the communities we serve benefit meaningfully from the relationship. Longer commitments are always welcome.

Absolutely. Corporate groups, university clubs, and faith communities can partner with MZUDO for group volunteering days. Contact us at mzuzudisabilityorg@gmail.com to discuss.
